I agree with Kevin.  He has a lot of first hand experience with a boondocking setup.   He basically has to recharge his system daily.  Many days that is just from his solar setup.  He also has a powermax converter he can use with his generator or when 110VAC is available at a campsite.  However, like everyone there was a beginning :)

Give Randy a call at Bestcoverters.com before buying one from camping world.  He might be able to get you better deal.
