I just measured mine, and it seems to be 3/16ths. I put a piece of thin paper over the hole and pushed down on as hard as I could with my finger to dimple the paper into the hole. If the tire had been off I could have pushed down with my thumb, for a better impression. A pencil eraser might be a good -dimpler- too.
Then I had to interpolate a little, as my use of a drill rod to hammer the adjuster plug around has distorted part of the round edge on the hole.
You could also take a 3/16th drill that isnt so good anymore, and grind off a short piece of its shank - maybe half an inch. That would allow you to get the drill down into the hole for a measurement.
