there are a few members with rigs converted to four wheel drive. look in the old posts and u will find a few threads on this. i have thought about this myself. i have a 1 ton dodge dually 4x4 v-10 donor. keep us posted if u do indeed change over. i would b very interested in the process and problems.

Do understand that you have additional challenges to face, particularly the weight and long wheelbase on your 27'
You're 7' longer and a few thousand pounds heavier.
I will try my best to answer questions; some is just trial and error. Well maybe drink a few beers to figure it out instead of error. Really also depends on what you want to achieve. I only go on the beach, so I am geared really low. Make sure you have a well thought out plan and I will be more than happy to help where I can, If not there is a lot of great additional advice on the forum.
Only one suggestion is: use the search prior to asking, it may have been cover in great detail already.
Hope everyone is doing well, been a busy summer so far. Was on the beach last weekend, hope to make it this weekend too.
