Title: Iv'e been bit. By the RV collection bug.
Post by: DELTA912 on August 03, 2013, 11:53 PM
We bought a 1973 360 V8 18 foot Dodge Sportsman Jamboree. With 3K miles.

Story has it, it sat for 30 years after the man that bought it died 3 years after. The person I got it from got it too live in, put all new running gear parts in it,6 New R16 8 lug rims and tires,Reged it with $700 Back fees, and drove it very little.

Drove it in to a drive through and wiped out the whole top part above the cab.

So We plan to put a camper on top seal the back of the van body off, and add a rear deck for porch.

Just got the back part of a 1970's Dodge D series Truck cab. The whole roof and floor, cut just behind the doors.

This is 6 foot wide and will work great for sealing the cab of the Sportsman van. Big plus.
