Title: OPD valves exempt on horizontal tanks

I found the document that states that opd valves are exempt on horizontal tanks.

It's NFPA 58 Liquified Petroleum Gas Code - 2008.

I found it as a read only pdf. I tried to upload a copy of the compter screen I put into word but it is too big of a file. I can e-mail the picture of the page of  the book. I think if you google the name of the code you can find it.

It is section 5.7.3 that talks about OPD
section 5.7.3.5 talks about exemptions. Horizontal mounted cylinders manufactured prior to October 1, 1998.

The tanks are fillable without opd but they still need the inspection where they stamp the date on the bottle. I think it is every 5 years. The one I filled needed a new o-ring kit that goes in the valve. It was only 15 bucks installed then the gas.
