Yes, I've printed this out and given it to a few "new" rv looky lews...Good info, really well appreciated.
I also recommend assessing the condition of body frame materials behind the internal and external vernier. Pushing on walls for flexure, open windows or door and grab the whole wall shake to assess side play. Probe with picks, use a wire brush where needed to inspect for corrosion, remove all interior access panels, etc. Inspect everything.
It was surprising to see how badly the framing was disintegrated in my 45 year old project vehicle once I started tearing the walls apart.
