I have done a search here and I was wondering if anyone has ever restored the brake/tail lights?  Mine are functional but faded from the sun.

I have seen videos on doing it to plastic headlights.  I wonder if it will work for the Chieftans tail lights...

I just restored mine (86 Chieftain 31RQ) last night in fact. It was really easy. Cost me about $30 and 10 minutes time.

The movie Twister - that research instrument? Yeah, she figured it out.

That is a fantastic price compared to the material and hard work needed to restore the original light fixtures.  Is there any chance you could post a photo of yours.

I would like to see that they will fit into my Chieftan before I buy.

Thanks.

They are standard lights. These are Bargman. The originals were Bargman. Everyone used these lights.

Thank you.

The reason I asked for the photo was because I ordered a porch light/handle fixture and it was not the same as what I have.  I am going to have to drill holes for it to work.  I don't mind having to.  I just don't want to start putting more holes in the motor home than I have to.
