Factory cigar lighter ?

On the wall of my right rear bunk is a lighted cigar lighter. I thought it was just a reading light till my son pulled it out from the socket. Were these factory installed? the wiring an installation seem to say so but I haven't seen them mentioned or in pics. A picture of this is in my gallery.

I have the orig. wiring diagram for coach an it doesn't show any circut to this lighter so I'm thinking it might be a 70's aftermarket cigarlighter/maplight. I've never seen one b4.

Surprise!  I know exactly what you're talking about.  I have one too... same place.  I'm guessing it was an option but not one which I can say I've noticed in any of the brochures.

Mine also has one on the right rear side.

I guess now they would be call a "12 volt utility outlet", LOL
