Title: Kin Jack on Braund Skyliner
Post by: Rusty2867 on August 02, 2016, 09:14 PM
So I made a mount to add a King Jack to a Skyliner, this is how I did it.Got a piece of 1 inch sq aluminum then drilled holes where the Braund arms would mount. Then I drilled them out to 3/8 and turned down some nylon bushings on my lathe.Mounted it up on the arms and figured out where the Jack head should sit, marked, drilled and tapped the holes for the Jack mount. Then I mounted it and marked where I wanted to trim the length. It moves up and down and sits level. Also I used button head bolts to hold the King mount to the tubing, they have more clearance for the arms.

Nice, ingenuity at it's best. How does the antenna work?

Thank's,it helps sometimes to have equipment to make stuff! I haven't yet been able to put a tv in it and see how good the antenna actually is.But I have heard great things about it!

Well now that you finally have it setting right side up I think a lot of things will work better.
