Title: Water tank...(how) does it work???
Post by: karlsruhekustoms on September 27, 2018, 04:30 PM
Hi.

I am overhauling my water tank from my 73 Winnie Brave and I've never seen something like this before. The only water which gets directly into the tank is from the toilet. The water from the kitchen and the shower leads into a pipe, which ends in the pipe for the water outlet, so nothing will get into the tank....hmmm...what if the water level rises? Doesn't get the water back to where it came from? So the tank is only for the toilet??

Back in 1973 it was considered perfectly acceptable to dump your grey water (sink, shower) out on the ground be a tree. Not so much today.

If you do not have or do not have room for a dedicated grey water tank now is the time to make any change. While it is on the ground.
