I'm embarrassed to say how long I've heard the clanking noise that I thought was cargo in my compartments... but I was under the front end today and noticed I had exactly zero bushings for the sway bar. Bar is just bouncing around in the brackets. Probably been this way since the day I bought it... I've seen some info in the forum, will be placing an order today but my question if anyone cares to comment:
I know they are rubber or similar, but how in the world is there nothing left??? Seems crazy too me...
1999 P30
It does seem very strange. I've seen ones really dried and cracked, but not missing completely.
But, if they were poor quality, shrunk, dried, and severely cracked to the point of crumbling, yeah I could see it if the vehicle was being used and not just sitting.
Here take your pick, just measure and order.

I seem to recall some controversy between Neoprene and Silicone bushings. May be worth your while to search 'Sway Bar Bushings' or similar here.
One can find sway bar bushings with grease zirk fittings as well.
My newest old P30 - came without sway bar bushings.
Only small pieces still there - replaced with Polyurethane.
