Warmed a tortilla on a flipped over plate in the microwave. Yum.

Later I decided to make some popcorn so I just placed to bag on the plate, fired it up, popcorn was delicious.

The next morning we had a strong fishy smell in the MH. We were in a very busy campground and assumed someone was having fish for breakfast. That evening I made some more popcorn and the next morning more fish odor! Didn't smell it at night for some reason.
After some head scratching we found it was the Rubbermaid plate in the micro! The plate was burned and cracked and smelled like.....FISH!
The plate had no micro safe label and had the recycle symbol of 7 (other). It was similar to the old melmac plates.

Live and learn, every day  Hm?
