After about 2 months of "wrenching" Rooster is just about ready for some camping. MAJOR engine oil leaks... fixed. Brakes... fixed and working great! The wiring fiasco behind the dash (and just about everywhere else... fixed! Roof top A/C... fixed! Thanks to my neighbor who discovered the "start up" capacitor just needed to be replaced. The horrible radiator hose/exhaust pipe fuel fill line... properly replaced! The ole beast is running great (considering the old carb will be replaced sometime). Went out for a little inagural driver yesterday evening and couldn't be happier.

Next... new tires and test a few "systems" before officially heading out. Thanks again to everyone on the site for the suggestions and guidance.

On a side note... I installed new tail lights assemblies. The old ones were shot. However, the lense covers are pretty much in prefect shape if anyone needs a set.

Funny you mention starter cap being shot, we just had a (relatively) recent post about that. Just put "capacitor", without quotes of course, into the search box and bam, lol..

As to the drive, PICs or it dinna happen!  :D
