Looks like being a hospital end to the year
« on: December 21, 2011, 10:38 PM »
Hi All

As some of you already are aware i have been having some real health issues this year being told my lungs are only working at less than 40% for one and my shunt in my head acting up . But my main issue has been a open sore on my right leg 5.5 by 10 inches that will not heal and no i dont have any sugar problems .So after many months of trying to close this open wound and many painful hours spent keeping the dam thing as clean as i could it has come down to going under the knife again on the 26th of december to try grafts they cant use my own skin from my thigh as they are worried that if they do that will not heal ,so i am having skin grown in a lab to see if this graft will take the big problem is if they start messing with the leg i could loose my lower leg but well here,s hoping it does not come to that but if it does i know they have tryed to save it and they will not take it unless they have to but its at a level now were the pain meds are working less and less and i find me thinking is it all worth the effort and yes as you can see from reading this i am down and life is a bummer but hell there are peope worse  off than me so Happy xmass to you all and may you have a great and safe Newyear and spare a thought for those who serve and cannot be with us in body at this time but allways in our thoughts

Well aint that a kick in the teeth. But be assured there is not one person is this group that's not pulling for you,  wishing you all the best and even throwing in a little prayer for you. You will be in our thoughts over the holiday season and we will be waiting with baited breath in panting anticipation for the great news that all went well and you'll be on your feet in know time. You have a very Merry Christmas and it will be a Great New Year.  :)ThmbUp

Sorry for all your health problems.  We had that last year when SWMBO spent Christmas in the hospital.  House was awfully empty that day.

Take care.  We're all pullin' for ya!
