I was watching Two Guys Garage on TV this morning and they advertized a relatively new product from Loctite Freeze and Release.  I have never used it but thought I would pass the information along in case you are fighting with a stuck bolt or nut.

sounds like something worth trying. ive never used cold to get things apart but ive use it plenty of times to get press fit items like ball joints back together

I just looked up my local supplier of this and discovered it is on sale this week--AT $77.80 A CAN!!  Regular wholesale price it $88.00.  I think I would try some other way before I'll put that much money in a can I might use a couple of times.  It does sound like a handy product, however.

Odd, I google it and see it for around $10 - $20 a can.

I was wondering if a can of air like you clean a computer key board would do the same thing.  Spray rusted part with PB blaster then turn can of air up side down and spray on rusted part.  Frozen rust.

You must be reading my mind JD.  Same thing I was thinking when I first saw this stuff.  I will be doing some exhaust work here soon I may get the chance to try it.

I have an old motor I need to take the parts off.  Will give it a try here also. Hm?

I stripped the bleeders on the calipers on my front brakes since I couldn't brake them loose. What do you think? Think this stuff would work for something like that? Hm? I can only get a bite with vice grips.

DaveVA78Chieftain

Worth a try TJ.  Your basically down to either drilling out and using an ease-out to remove them or replace the caliper.
