Disc Brake Caliper Sliding Rail Rusting

One of the issues I have run into on my Dodge M400 Chassis is that the Disc Brake Caliper can bind up on the metal sliding rail they move back and forth in due to rust.  I have learned that this is also a problem for the Chevy Disc Brake Calipers.  When this happens, the wheels (rims), rotors, and hubs get very hot and can boil the brake fluid resulting in brake failure.  The fix is to simply remove the caliper (hang on a wire), clean the mating surfaces on caliper and support assembly (crocus cloth and/or a dremel sanding attachement), and apply an anti-sieze compound to the mating srfaces.   Put it all back together.  Any time you do a brake job you need to do this and then on a periodic basis going forward.
