Camping in Severe Weather

Be safe ...Be Aware!
In the summer months, the chance of severe weather affecting us while using our RV's goes up.. An RV is no place to be during a severe storm.

Would you know what to do during a severe weather alert? Do you have an emergency plan?

We keep a Homeland weather alert radio with us and turned on when camped, especially when we are in Oklahoma in April and May.  There are tornado shelters at the campground we stay at, so we stay alert.  We also don't keep the awning out there...we roll it out only when we are going to use it, and roll it right back up when done.  That way we can get the heck out of there quick if they say a tornado is coming our way...lol.
