Does anyone know if there is a recommended high idle rpm? I have the curb idle set at 700 RPM. Using a vacuum gauge I set the idle air screws on the Carter 2 barrel and have the timing at 5 degrees before TDC. Once the engine kicks down from high idle she runs like new. Only issue is it loads up at initial start and I have to clean it out. I am going to set my electric choke to the leanest setting but was curious about the high idle RPMs. Got any advice? Thanks
