Suburban SF-42 furnace still not working!

Sounds kind of right but if those figures are what your widget are giving you then you might want to check your ac voltage, it would be on the high side. 5.2 amps at 750 watts is 144 volts. That is ohms law, there is no changing that so either your voltage is high or the widget is off a bit. Either way the amps are not as high as they would have been if it were at the advertised 1500 watts. once you start getting over 130 volts ac some electronics tend to get unhappy.

Yep.  The widget also tells me how many watts it is drawing...and although the heater is advertised as 750 watts on low and 1500 watts on high, both off those figures were lower on the widget, with high being significantly lower (closer to 1400 watts).
