Wow such a sad ending for a happy couple living on the road.

No Guarantees but that's why we stay in Walmart Parking lots over night. 24 hr video surveillance

You wouldn't want to stay in any of the Walmarts around here! Most of them do not allow overnight parking anyway but not all places like that are safe, surveillance will only tell the cops what happened after the fact, it will not protect you at night.

Sometimes the 30 or 40 bucks for a night is worth the peace of mind!! Those people were staying in a boondocking area on Padre Island. From the pictures I saw, it seemed like a pretty desolate area.

This is why we always ALWAYS carry a gun on board.  Always.  And if I'm in a state the reciprocates my permit (which is most of the states we go to) I always ALWAYS carry a concealed gun on my person.

You gotta be a special kind of stupid to drive around in a murdered persons missing truck! What could possibly go wrong?

Well, they went straight to Mexico. I am guessing it was something else that got them caught. They probably sold the truck right after crossing the border since that picture is all they have on him. That means they don't have the truck.

I also wonder if they didn't befriend them and invite them right into their lives.   RVers are overwhelmingly friendly and open, and it may have cost them their lives.
