I want to convert my M500 to 8x6.5 lug. I want some shiny Alcoa wheels!

Does anyone know if the M series of the 70's and 80's used interchangeable hubs?

This is where you need to go and the guy you need to talk to. Dave knows pretty much all there is to know about these old beasts. Swapping wheels has been a topic of many discussions and I don't know a lot about the old Dodge systems but it seems like it is not an easy thing to do. Dave will know more about it.

All I need to know now is the spline of my axle without removing it. I have found replacement hubs, discs, and hardware. Now all I need to know is the axle spline.

Hopefully Dave will know this answer. The Dana70 spindle did not change. Dodge stopped using the 70 in 2013 in favor of the 80.

Finding dually hubs will be relatively easy but now I need 8 bolt shafts. 30 or 35 spline?

Sorry, Dodge Service manual only list # of teeth on pinion shaft, not axle shaft.

In the trucks the Dodge used a 1 1/2" axle with 35 splines and Ford used the 1 1/2" axle with 37 splines.
