I tried to repair my fuel pressure regulator - but I stripped one screw!!!

There is no way to replace the original regulator on the exact same position - no slack in the lines... Dropping the tank was not an option
because my tank inlet goes thru the frame.

Luckily I have access from behind my tag axle to the top of the fuel tank and installed a complete new fuel pressure regulator system on
top of the fuel tank. Wasn't easy to find 1/2 inch brass fittings and 1/2 inch fuel rubber line... I had to cut the steel fuel line on the right side as well.

Originally the steel fuel line is on the right side, but went around the rear of the tank to the left side where the original pressure regulator was
installed.

Just drove 1300 miles back from Texas and it worked great.

When I dropped my tank I had to deal with inlet though the frame. It took 2 people and working with a floor jack with a custom cradle and using the threaded rod that hold it up. Not easy but can be done.
