My rv shares most of it parts with the dodge b300.
Most of the parts have part numbers on them I put these numbers into rockauto search and hey presto all the right parts turned up. :)clap

You need to find the Dodge VIN plate so you can decode your chassis.  It is most likely located under the front access hood attached to the drivers side radiator support panel (radiator side, not inside).
At 33ft I suspect it is a Dodge M600 chassis though it could be a M500.  Both use 15"x4" rear brake drums and front/rear 19.5" tires

NO, for suspension and brake parts, it will be nothing like a dodge b300 (van), mb300/400 (Class C van cutaway chassis), d300 (2x4 pickup) , or w300 (4x4 pickup) chassis.  They are 1 ton chassis where yours is a 1 1/2 to 2 ton chassis.  The M300 is the closet to the van pickup however because the Class A MH chassis is a unique design many parts are NOT the same.  The M500 & M600 parts are completly different from the M300 or M400 chassis

Many thanks for this I will check VIN numbers first.

That is a 1977 M600 6,000 lb, chassis. According to the Dodge VIN decoder on here. BUT! According to the 6th digit it is a 1978? Going to have to let Dave decipher this one!

Because the RV Mfg had to order the chassis early, it was normal for them to place this years house (e.g. 1979) on last years chassis (e.g 1978)

VIN M60DA81511419
M6 = M600 Chassis
0 = Forward Control&Motor Home Chassis, Incomplete chassis, CB300 Kary Van, Sport Utility
D = 14,001 lbs to 16,000 lbs GVW
A = 440-3 engine
8 = 1978 chassis year
1 = Invalid, this should be a character not a number.  I suspect it is actually a J which represents the Windsor Assembly plant.
511419 = Chassis serial #

Here is a question for you Dave, In that chart for 1978 there is NO M60. How do you determine it is a 78 (vin digit 8) but no M6 designation for that in 1978. This is all chassis stuff so body year makes no diff here.

I never noticed before that the 78-79 VIN table is incorrect.  I verified that the decode I provided is valid using the 78-79 Dodge Motorhome Service Manual.

AHA! You didn't have anything to do with that code link of coarse. W%
