Right can i run my ignition on 12v and bypass the ballest resistor? Hm?

To get it home, but honestly I have no idea on how long before you fry something else in the ignition....Should just replace it, every parts store in the world should have one in stock.

I was thinking of junking all of the stuff and put a switch live to the coil and bypass everything else.

Why do you want to do this? Is it broken down? The coil will not last too long on full 12 volts.

budder

Im just thinking that if it broke down i can get spares quickly. Could i just get a 12v coil.

Would this be any good?Look at this on eBay  http://www.ebay.com/itm/191609117273

I see no reason why that would not work, I would just be sure to get the part availability for the module.
