voltage regulator location

I have a 1979 dodge m500 on winnebago chieftain. Where is the alternator regulator located?

You will find a plate mounted to the top rear of the engine with the voltage regulator, Ignition Module, and Ballast Resistor mounted to it.   The Class A Dodge chassis did not have the regulator in the alternator.

mine is at the back of the engine. Like Dave said.
