Title: Great info about Fuel mileage and Quadrajets
Post by: cncsparky on May 23, 2014, 10:31 PM
For those interested in modifying their own carb or want to know a little more about it.  'Tuner' is a former GM engineer who posts in numerous forums.  Seems very knowledgeable.

Now these guys are serious Quadrajet builders, (Dave visit this page) It is full of modifications for MPG,  Things i have never heard of. Plugging and drilling /bending throttle plates etc, They reengineer carburators, Also did not know, Thermoquad was as efficent  a carb as a QJ for atomizing fuel.   Frank

Cam recommendation reply split and posted as new topic on the "Topics for All Chassis" board.

Don't want to turn this into a discussion about cams, carbs, headers, tuning & gas mileage.  We already have several topics on those.  :)ThmbUp
