Title: Going to Full Timeing in less than a month, hopefully!
Post by: Mental72 on May 15, 2014, 01:37 PM
After living next to an interstate for the last 5 years, I realized I'm a country boy who's way out of place in a city setting. Sure, I like to visit and see the big city lights, but I'm more of a wide open space kinda guy. It's funny, when I grew up, all I wanted to do was get off that farm and into the city, now that I've been in the city, I can't wait to get back on the farm! A good friend I grew up with and her husband own a decent sized theater in a small town in western Iowa near to the farm where I grew up, and it just so happens they need a music director.

So far the plan is to stay at the theater until I can get onto a piece of land. I know some people that have places, and I'll look into that more when I get over there, hopefully at the beginning of the month. I've been moving what I have into the RV a little at a time, and I have to say, I feel much better knowing my stuff's in the RV.

Well, just wanted to share, and thank everyone for all the information and such.

Be well, and be well to others!

Hello & Congrats!!!  The term "Peace of mind" will be most evident to you as you begin to enjoy FREEDOM. I (after living in my rig since 2005) will NEVER live in what I refer a trap again. Being locked down in a home or apartment several times in my life & having the advantage of mobility, my choice has lifted the pressures & headaches from what was a very stressful environment. I know some can't fathom the thought but it's not for everyone. Good luck & have a wonderful new life comrade.     Just my two cents worth C YA! GONMAD

Congrats!  We've been fulltimers for about 10 years now, and I wouldn't change a thing!
