Title: CRAZY IDEA- polishing Aluminum Trim
Post by: Jonbbrew on October 17, 2018, 02:02 AM
Hey all,

Have a 73 Indian D24. Since i have other project cars i have worked on over the years i started thinking. How crazy would it be if one polished the aluminum trim...Ie corner trim, window frames, etc.? Has anyone done that? Wondering how much its worth the effort for the reward of making an old rig look a little more modern, flashy and keep the folks from calling it a homeless vehicle.

Thoughts?

Here's an article on a chap that did one. Looks FANTASTIC! Lots of work. If you decide to do yours please keep a photo log to show the rest of us how to do it. If I ever get the time I'd like to do mine.
