Title: Window Frame Question
Post by: srosa707 on May 11, 2018, 03:59 PM
So I pulled my window frame to start the reseal process (thread to follow) and I have a question:  My frame was welded together at the split, holding the glass in place.  Is this normal?  My local glass guy said it was not and I could not tell if the weld was factory or not.  No, I did not get a picture :-[

Yes,the older Winnebago windows were welded.

For what it's worth, the repair manual says to break the weld and use epoxy instead
